First-Class Engineering Graduate Thanks Davido For Partly Funding His Education In Nigeria After He Dropped Out Of School In England

A young Nigerian man, Jide Valentino Sanya has thanked music star, Davido for partly funding his university education in Nigeria.

Sanya, who tweets with the handle @OjaySanya, praised the artiste via his Twitter account, while revealing that he graduated from Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti state on Monday with first-class degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering (EEE).

Giving more details about how Davido came to his rescue, Sanya said a GoFundMe account was created for him to solicit for money after he dropped out in England due to financial challenges.

According to him, Davido then offered him some money, which he then used to enrol himself in ABUAD.

Sanya tweeted;

This is also not the first time the music star will be funding the education of a stranger.

In 2017, when he took up the education bills of a 5-year-old boy. The boy was discovered after he was spotted singing Davido‘s hit single ‘If.’

In 2018, he also placed a young student on scholarship at his father’s university, Adeleke University.

Kudos to Davido for his philanthropic act.
