“2019 Election Campaigns Is So Quiet Because Places Politicians Take Money From Have Been Blocked”- Alibaba

2019 elections is 29 days away and according to Comedian Alibaba, the election campaigns have been quiet unlike previous years because the places where politicians have hitherto taken money from for campaigns have been blocked by the Treasury Single Account (TSA) or BVN.

He wrote on hid Instagram page,“HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF ANY ELECTION IN NIGERIA THAT IS SO QUIET? NAAA. YOU KNOW WHY? THERE IS NO MONEY. ALL THE PLACES THESE POLITICIANS USED TO TAKE MONEY FOR CAMPAIGN ARE WITH TSA. OTHER PLACES THE MONIES ARE IN, CANT BE ACCESSED BECAUSE OF BVN. ELECTION IS 1 MONTH AWAY, HEAVY ADVERTS ON RADIO & TV HAVE REDUCED. ONLY POSTERS AND BILLBOARDS. WE SHALL OVERCOME, ONE DAY.

”By now, all traditional and new media would have been loaded with adverts and campaign materials. Oya na, do it let’s see. The good thing in all of these that is happening, is, that, gradually, CASH POLITICS, PAY AS YOU GO ELECTIONS, and HIGHEST BIDDER GETS VOTES… will soon be eradicated or at least reduced” he added.
