Earthquake Hit Italy, 21 People Killed, Many More Missing

A strong earthquake yesterday hit central Italy, killing at least 21 people and destroying several towns and villages. The quake hit at 03:36 (01:36 GMT), 100km north-east of Rome. Its epicentre was close to the town of Norcia, near Perugia. Some of the worst damage was in the town of Amatrice, where several people died and rescuers are trying to find survivors.
