Nigeria’s Divine Odurudu Finishes 2nd Behind Bolt In 200M Race

Its seems like Nigeria is set for a medal, (hopefully a gold,) but that is if Bolt allows it. Yesterday, Nigeria’s 200m champion, Divine Oduduru, finished 2nd behind Usain Bolt in the Men’s 200m Heat race at the Olympics today August 16th. Odurudu finished in a record time of 20.34 while Usain Bolt finished at 20.28. Usain Bolt, Justin Gatlin, Yohan Blake and Divine have advanced to the 200m semi-finals.

The race, in the ninth heat, is the fastest time for a Nigerian athlete in history. The semi-finals take place at 02:00 BST on Thursday. Lets hope, Divine brings a medal for Nigeria.
