BREAKING: Court Dismiss Saraki’s Case, Ask Him To Face His Trial At The CCT

The way it is now, its either Nigeria’s senate President Bukola Saraki resigns and save the remaining dignity he has left if there is any or be disgraced out of office through his Code Of Conduct Tribunal trial because his last attempt as thwarting the proceeding of the trial has just been squashed at the Federal High Court.

Today, Justice Abdul Kafarati, of the Fderal High Court, Abuja, dismissed Saraki’s fundamental human rights case and asked him to face his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).

The judge dismissed Saraki’s fundamental rights suit to quash the charges against him at the CCT for lacking in merit, he said;

“It appears to me all that the applicant is trying to do is to stop his criminal trial at CCT. The CCT is a competent court to try the criminal matters,” he held.
“This court cannot interfere with the case at the tribunal which has power to try cases.
“It is not appropriate for the applicant to approach this court. This case is hereby dismissed.”
